Nikolaj Berdjaev (1874-1948) was a Russian philosopher, exponent of Christian existentialism. His thought was especially devoted to the concept of human freedom. He wrote several books, among which: Landmarks, The Philosophy of Freedom, The Fate of Russia, Dostoevskii: an Interpretation, The Russian Idea.
