Multifaced History (On the problem of integration of micro- and macro-approach)

Abstract

The article investigates various means of combining micro- and macro- analysis in historical studies. Each of the two approaches plays an equally important role in comprehending the past. At the same time, neither of the two can be incorporated into the other one, as they can only be combined as complementary principles.
