Author Biography
Aleksandr Panchenko is a research fellow at the Institute of Russian Literature, Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg, Russia) and a professor at the European University at St. Petersburg. His research interests include vernacular religion in Russia, contemporary folklore and popular culture, new religious movements and New Age spirituality, anthropology of conspiracy theories.
