Aleksandr Vvedenskii writes The Gray Notebook between 1932 and 1933 after his return from exile in Kursk. It is a short collection of thoughts about poetry, language and time, which reveals Vvedenskii’s conception of poetry and the general musing behind his poėticheskaia kritika razuma [poetic critique of reason]. This is the first Italian translation.
